It is said all the time, God is love. Do we really hear what that means? Turn it around Love is God. The feeling of love, the moment of love. That is what God is. It is what you truly are. It is the Source. The Christian religion’s holy trinity recognizes a man, Jesus Christ as being the Son of God. As if Jesus was the only person capable of feeling and knowing love. The message of Jesus was simple, God is Love. The Heavenly Father is Love. The Source of all Life is Love. Take out the concept of an old man with a long beard on a gold throne living in the sky. That is just fairy-tale. Who am I to say I know such things? I am a person who has died. I am a person that has loved. I am person who meditates. I can say from my experience, from life death to astral projection God lives in us and is what we are.
Meditating deeply is transcendent. We speak a lot about mindfulness and being mindful as if that will bring about a deeply meditative state. To me mindfulness is like praying, we enter a space of stillness and call for a result. In states of deep meditation nothing could be further from the Truth. We enter a state of stillness and nourish the stillness. There’s no call for, there is no ask. In deep meditation, one simply Is. Meditation is the door to your True Nature. The Great I AM. Love. Meditation is not prayer and God does not sit on a throne in heaven. God does not rule all. God IS All.
There is an old story about how God used to walk the planet as a man. At some point he tired of people pestering him with questions and decided to look for a place where he could be away from all the questions and be still. He thought, “I will hide in the bottom of the ocean!” Then realized, man would find him there one day. Then he thought, “What about going out to space?” He realized, no, man would find him there. Then he said to himself, “l know! I will hide within man himself. He will never think to look for me there and if he does, he won’t bother me anyway!” Meditation is the way to look for God, but not bother him with questions. Deep meditation puts us in touch with our True Nature, our Selves. We find God hidden inside of us and become filled with such peace we want never to disturb it.
That is knowing God. That is why meditation is not prayer and God does not sit on a throne.
